For the SME Rating SCB cooperates with Bratislava‘s regional office of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The target group of the project are small and medium-sized enterprises with a minimum of two years’ history and with a yearly profit of 6 to 500 million Sk, which keep double entry accounting and have up to 250 employees.
The position of small or medium-sized companies with a good credit rating can (if they allow it to be published) improve considerably. Obtaining a loan becomes faster, there are lower banking fees, they obtain better positions in competitive tendering and there are shorter payment terms for important customers, etc.
The SME Rating contains rating levels, positive and negative comments on economic management and gives the SME a view of the financial institution that is a debtor.
In case of good rating (lower credit risk) an entrepreneur can use the advantages offered by the project partners fixed at higher rating levels. In this case the company has to agree to it being published for their partners. In the case of a lower rating (higher credit risk) small and medium-sized companies can use comments and remove weaknesses and improve their financial stability.
